Music in my life.

2. My "favorite" song changes like once a week. I'll find a song I love and over and over again until I’m sick of it. But my current favorite song at the moment is Gooey by Animal Glass. It’s just a chill calming song that helps to listen to when I’m feeling nervous.

3. My music had been the same for a really long time. Ives always enjoyed more upbeat tunes. I’m not a person who looks way into the song and the lyrics. As long as it’s appealing to my ears and doesn’t make me sad I usually enjoy it. I like a lot of the same bands as I did when I was younger.

4. I always learn towards happy fun upbeat stuff, and I’m sure that’s weird since I’m not a super peppy girl. I like fast songs because it always seems to cheer me up. Who wants to listen to things that sound sad and slow? I really really cannot listen to metal or rap what so ever. It’s so icky sounding and makes me uneasy. And no one in my family has ever enjoyed that type of music so I didn’t grow up around it.

8. I’ve always admired the music of of Montreal, They always seemed to care so much about their music, and seeing them live you can tell how much they just love what they are doing. They just have so much fun with it, and have grown a lot as a band, and have been together for over 10 years and have stayed true to themselves and their type of music, they haven’t changed but still all their albums sound so good and not just the same song over and over again.

11. I think music can help people heal. Personally I’m not really connected to music like a lot of people, but with my sister it’s helped so much. She’s always struggled with depression and stuff along those lines, but music and writing songs has helped her keep stable and helped deal with some of her depression.

12. One thing I always notice in movies is the music, it can really help sent a mood. Of course in scary movies, how would you know somethings going to happen unless there’s that scary music playing? Songs can set sad or happy tones even if the scene is complete different then the song that’s playing.

Art walk

Smuggey paintings like this always set me back to when i was a kid. Id spend every weekend with my grandmother, and she always has many projects, and fun things for use to do. But whenever the fun ideas ran out for the weekend we always got out giants rolls of blank paper and would just make a mess and paint all over it. It was scared my grandfather half to death, his fear of us ruining his house with out messiness. Even tho out artwork always turned into a mess of gross colors, my grandmother always thought it looked great. Those were the most fun parts of going over to her house. I cant look at a abstract artwork and think that its truly art, but I know it was fun to make.

Artist bio

David Barnes was born November 1, 1977.
He works with his brother Kevin Barnes, who is the singer and creature of the band of Montreal. David does most of the art work for the band, all the covers, and does a lot of work with them on tour. He does the stage props, and lights.
Life events he has lives threw is 9/11, the first African American president, and the fall of the Berlin wall. 

Album art he did for of Montreals False Priest album. He is mostly known for his work with of Montreal. But he does a lot of stuff out side of his brothers band. He has his own etsy page where he sells most of his stuff, he also sells stuff when he goes on tour with oM.
David mostly works with paint. He redoes a ton of old stuff, he finds old little sculptures and paints over them, making them totally new. He says his art is inspired by science, and the strangeness of life.

  

Keeping it Real

2. Listen to you kids, don't ignore there views on thing. 
 Don't be so strict on teenagers, it just makes us wanna act out more.
 Taking our stuff away doesn't make us wanna change our behavior.

3. No, im horrible with writing. And people should not be taking life advise from me, like at all. If i was to write something, im sure i could do some movie reviews.

5. I'm not so sure how old someone should be to date. People honestly shouldn't take dating to seriously until after high school. People are young and inmature and will be completely different people after high school.

8. What makes someone a hottie is having long hair, boys with long hair is my weakness. And boys who dress really cool. Also boys who like good movies. Boys who arent annoying and don't use the word "swag", #1 way to get me to stop texting them.

14. People don't usually know that im really shy, and i get really bad panic attacks if im around a lot of people.Im going to become a teacher when im older. I wanna teach art.

16. Perfect day is a day to myself, taking a hot bubble bath, and painting. listing to good music or watching some movies.

19. Asking questions to someone you don't really know is actually a super good way to get a conversation going, and a good way to get to know someone.

  My favorite movie is Lolita (1997 remake) Because its just a pretty film, and stays true to the book.
